"Diamond J Ranch is the perfect place to board your horse. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and caring, plus they are always willing to help. The wellbeing of your horse is always their top priority. Additionally, the entire facility is very well maintained. The stalls are large and comfortable, and the pastures are grassy and never overgrazed thanks to the high quality hay they provide. My favorite part about boarding at DJR, though, is the massive covered arena. The ground is phenomenal and dragged daily, so I know I will always be able to ride. The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming that it feels like DJR has just become an extension of my backyard. I really could not be happier boarding anywhere else."

"I sent my Shiners Voodoo Dr filly ("Lovi") to Julz for 30-days training. Lovi had absolutely zero prior training other than being led from the barn to the pasture and learning to stand for the farrier. Lovi is out of my mare My Two Step by Wimpys Little Step. I knew that Lovi was talented with a sweet disposition, so I wanted someone to start her who was a "gentle hand". Although I had never seen Julz even ride a horse much less train one, in my discussions with her and talking to others it seemed like she was a good fit for Lovi and me. Julz encouraged Lovi just that way--with a gentle hand. Julz sent me videos and pics and answered all my calls promptly to keep me informed. During the training period I was only able to check on Lovi twice. The first time, although I did not see her in training, Lovi was quiet in her stall, came right up to me and let me know she was happy and safe. At about day 25 Julz asked if I wanted to come out as she was making really good progress and had a strong attraction to Lovi. What a day that was! Julz quietly worked her in the round pen and said she was ready. Up she lightly went after standing in one stirrup a few times and rode Lovi willingly for the first time around and around the pen with not so much as a crow hop. I knew that I has a nice horse for sure and I am telling you I have now have a "Jewel" of a trainer in Julz. She will be starting Evi in about 7 months as I would not think of entrusting her mind to anyone else in these parts. Thanks tons Julz."

"If you're looking for a trainer, a place to board, or just a place to haul your horse to practice, this place is absolutely worth checking out. The arena has plenty of room to work in and the ground is some of the best in the area. The owner/trainer is an excellent horseman and runs the facility incredibly well. She does a thorough job in putting a foundation on one. Very professional, and welcoming."
