We have 2 buckle series running this year: our gymkhana series & barrel series. If you plan on competing in either series, you definitely want to join our membership for this year! The membership qualifies you to be able to win awards at both.
Gymkhana Buckle Series
April 5th, May 22nd, July 17th, July 31st, & August 14th.
Members will receive points at each show based on their placings in each class. Day of High Point awards will be given to Peewee, Youth, and Adult High Point at each show. Overall High Point buckles will be awarded to series end High Point grand champions, and awards will be given to reserve champions in each division as well.
Barrel Buckle Series
July 25th, August 1st & 15th, September 19th & 26th.
Member's best 3 times ran during the series will be averaged to determine division grand champions to receive buckles. Reserve champions will also receive awards. Members must have 3 valid times in order to qualify. 4D: 0.5, 0.5, 1.0 second splits.

Join us on the following Monday nights from 6pm-9pm:
2/16, 3/16, 4/13, 5/4, 6/1, 7/6
Open arena is from 6-7:30
Unlimited barrel exhibitions from 7:30-9
Cost is $25/horse & rider combo, $5 per additional horse
Negative Coggins & helmets for riders under 18 required, arena rules apply.

Join us on May 9th and 10th for our upcoming barrel racing clinic with our owner and trainer Julz Williams! Instruction will highlight fundamentals, horsemanship, barrel and arena exercises, pattern work, personal development, and more. We encourage all ages and levels of riders to participate, as this will be an influential learning experience for all participants. Riders will receive individualized coaching, educational materials, and awards upon completion.
Negative Coggins required for all horses
Helmets required for all riders under 18
Participation Cost
Includes participation for both days for 1 horse and rider pair.
Lunch included both days.
Stalls are available separately.

Our 2026 Barrel Series will consist of 5 Saturday jackpots: July 25th, August 1st & 15th, and September 19th & 26th. This series will run just like our 2025 Test Run Series.
75% payback with $100 added to the Open class, and $250 added with 30+ entries! There will be an Open 4D, Youth 4D (18 & under as of January 1st), and Adult 4D (19+). Results will be posted the same day as each race and paybacks will be made via Venmo or Paypal within 24 hours of the results being posted.
Become a series member to compete for Buckles! 2026 Award Memberships are $40 for the year and qualify you to compete for awards at any of our 2026 shows. We will have time slots from 10-1PM to help minimize congestion in our parking area, and will be utilizing a “haul-in & haul-out” style. This means you’ll show up for your time slot, run, and enjoy the rest of your day without being held up at a barrel race! Please be courteous and make room for others when you have finished your runs. Grounds fee is $15/rider, waived for current Diamond J Ranch boarders/training horse clients. Negative Coggins & helmets for riders under 18 required.
We will be requiring online pre-entry for each race which will open 1 week before and close 24 hours prior to the race. We will not be accepting day of registration or additional entries once online entries have been closed. No exceptions! The draw will be posted the day of the race and there will be no changes to entries or refunds once entries close. Races will be rain or shine in our covered arena!

Interested in joining the Equestrian Team at the University of Tennessee?
Fall 2026 Orientation is happening August 22nd at 12PM at Diamond J Ranch — home of the UTK Western Team!
Riders of all experience levels are welcome. No horse required — just bring boots, jeans, a helmet if you have one, and a great attitude. Come ride, learn, and be part of an incredible team.
